بَابٌ فِيمَنْ قَدَرَ عَلَى نَصْرِ مَظْلُومٍ أَوْ إِنْكَارِ مُنْكَرٍ .

عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " قَالَ رَبُّكَ - جَلَّ وَعَزَّ - : وَعِزَّتِي وَجَلَالِي لَأَنْتَقِمَنَّ مِنَ الظَّالِمِ فِي عَاجِلِهِ وَآجِلِهِ ، وَلَأَنْتَقِمَنَّ مِمَّنْ رَأَى مَظْلُومًا فَقَدَرَ أَنْ يَنْصُرَهُ فَلَمْ يَفْعَلْ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ مَنْ لَمْ أَعْرِفْهُمْ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Your Lord says: By My Might and My Majesty, I will surely take revenge on the oppressor, whether soon or late, and I will surely take revenge on the one who sees an oppressed person and has the ability to help him, yet does not do so."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and its chain contains a narrator whom I do not know.
