كتاب الفتن - أعاذنا الله منها
Book of Tribulations (may Allah protect us from them)
بَابٌ فِي الْأَمْرِ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَالنَّهْيِ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ وَفِيمَنْ لَا تَأْخُذُهُ فِي اللَّهِ لَوْمَةُ لَائِمٍ .
Enjoining good and forbidding evil, and one who does not fear the blame of any critic for the sake of Allah

وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَنَّ مُوسَى قَالَ : يَا رَبِّ ، أَخْبِرْنِي بِأَكْرَمِ خَلْقِكَ عَلَيْكَ . فَقَالَ : الَّذِي يُسْرِعُ فِي هَوَايَ إِسْرَاعَ النَّسْرِ إِلَى مَثْوَاهُ ، وَالَّذِي تَكَلَّفَ بِعِبَادِي الصَّالِحِينَ كَمَا يُكَلَّفُ الصَّبِيُّ بِالنَّاسِ ، وَالَّذِي يَغْضَبُ إِذَا انْتُهِكَتْ مَحَارِمِي غَضَبَ النَّمِرِ لِنَفْسِهِ ، فَإِنَّ النَّمِرَ إِذَا غَضِبَ لَمْ يُبَالِ أَقَلَّ النَّاسُ أَمْ كَثُرُوا " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ عُرْوَةَ وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .
Sayyidah Aishah Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Sayyiduna Musa (peace be upon him) said: O my Lord! Tell me who is the most honoured of Your creation in Your sight. Allah Almighty said: The one who hastens to follow My command as an eagle speeds to its nest; the one who is attached to My righteous servants as a child is attached to people; and the one who, when any of My sanctities is being violated, becomes angry the way a leopard becomes angry for itself, for when a leopard is angry, it does not care whether the people are few or many."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Yahya bin Urwah, who is matruk (abandoned).
