Book of Tribulations (may Allah protect us from them)
بَابٌ فِي الْأَمْرِ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَالنَّهْيِ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ وَفِيمَنْ لَا تَأْخُذُهُ فِي اللَّهِ لَوْمَةُ لَائِمٍ .

وَعَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ أَنَّهُ بَايَعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - هُوَ وَأَبُو ذَرٍّ وَأَبُو سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيُّ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ وَرَجُلٌ آخَرُ عَلَى أَنْ لَا تَأْخُذَهُمْ فِي اللَّهِ لَوْمَةُ لَائِمٍ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ عَبْدُ الْمُهَيْمِنِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that he, Sayyiduna Abu Dharr al-Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him), Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him), Sayyiduna Muhammad bin Maslamah al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) and one other Companion pledged allegiance to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) on the condition that the blame of any blamer would not affect them in the matter of Allah Almighty.
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains Abd al-Muhaymin bin Ayyash, who is da'if (weak).
