بَابٌ فِي أَهْلِ الْمَعْرُوفِ وَأَهْلِ الْمُنْكَرِ .

Majma al-Zawaid 12117 — The people of good and the people of evil
وَعَنْ سَلْمَانَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ أَهْلَ الْمَعْرُوفِ فِي الدُّنْيَا أَهْلُ الْمَعْرُوفِ فِي الْآخِرَةِ ، وَإِنَّ أَهْلَ الْمُنْكَرِ فِي الدُّنْيَا أَهْلُ الْمُنْكَرِ فِي الْآخِرَةِ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ هِشَامُ بْنُ لَاحِقٍ ، تَرَكَهُ أَحْمَدُ وَقَوَّاهُ النَّسَائِيُّ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Salman (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The people of good in this world will be the people of good in the Hereafter, and the people of evil in this world will be the people of evil in the Hereafter."
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains Hisham bin Lahiq, whom Ahmad abandoned and al-Nasa'i (may Allah have mercy on him) considered strong; the rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
