وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَهْلُ الْمَعْرُوفِ فِي الدُّنْيَا أَهْلُ الْمَعْرُوفِ فِي الْآخِرَةِ ، وَأَهْلُ الْمُنْكَرِ فِي الدُّنْيَا أَهْلُ الْمُنْكَرِ فِي الْآخِرَةِ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الصَّغِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ بِإِسْنَادَيْنِ ، فِي أَحَدِهِمَا يَحْيَى بْنُ خَالِدِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ الرَّقِّيُّ ، وَلَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ وَلَا وَلَدَهُ أَحْمَدَ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ ، وَفِي الْأَخِيرِ الْمُسَيَّبِ بْنُ وَاضِحٍ ، قَالَ أَبُو حَاتِمٍ : يُخْطِئُ كَثِيرًا ، فَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُ لَمْ يَرْجِعْ .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The people of good in this world will be the people of good in the Hereafter, and the people of evil in this world will be the people of evil in the Hereafter."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Saghir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat with two chains. One chain contains Yahya bin Khalid bin Hayyan al-Raqqi, and I do not know him, nor his son Ahmad; the rest of its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih. The other contains al-Musayyab bin Wadih, about whom Abu Hatim said: He makes many mistakes, and when he is alerted to a mistake, he does not retract.
