وَعَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - كَانَ إِذَا تَوَضَّأَ خَلَّلَ لِحْيَتَهُ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ الصَّلْتُ بْنُ دِينَارٍ ، وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .

Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed ablution, he would run his fingers through his beard.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, al-Salt bin Dinar, who is matruk (abandoned).
