وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيَعْمَلُ بِعَمَلِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ وَإِنَّهُ لَمَكْتُوبٌ فِي الْكِتَابِ مِنْ أَهْلِ النَّارِ فَمَاتَ فَدَخَلَ النَّارَ ، وَإِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيَعْمَلُ بِعَمَلِ أَهْلِ النَّارِ وَإِنَّهُ لَمَكْتُوبٌ فِي الْكِتَابِ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ فَإِذَا كَانَ قَبْلَ مَوْتِهِ تَحَوَّلَ فَعَمِلَ بِعَمَلِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ فَمَاتَ فَدَخَلَهَا " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَأَبُو يَعْلَى بِأَسَانِيدَ ، وَبَعْضُ أَسَانِيدِهِمَا رِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Sayyidah Aishah Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) relates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A man keeps doing the deeds of the people of Paradise while in the Preserved Tablet his name is among the people of Hell, and then he dies and goes to Hell. And a person keeps doing the deeds of the people of Hell, while in the Preserved Tablet his name is among the people of Paradise; then, before he dies, the man turns and begins doing the deeds of the people of Paradise, and dies in that state and enters Paradise."
Ahmad and Abu Ya'la recorded it with several chains, and some of the chains of both have narrators who are the narrators of the Sahih.
