Sayyiduna Abu Ayyub (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed ablution, he would clean his nose three times, rinse his mouth, and put his finger into his mouth. When he washed his face, he would also bring his palms over his ears, and when he wiped his head, he would wipe the back part with his fingers, and along with the head he would also wipe his ears.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. I found it like this in the "original"
report. Its chain contains a narrator, Wasil bin al-Sa'ib, who is matruk (abandoned).
