Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 11826

Sayyiduna Abu al-Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: An increase in lifespan was mentioned before the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When the appointed time of a soul arrives, Allah Almighty does not delay it." After this the narrator mentioned the full hadith.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains Sulayman bin Ata, who is da'if (weak).
