وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " الشَّقِيُّ مَنْ شَقِيَ فِي بَطْنِ أُمِّهِ وَالسَّعِيدُ مَنْ سَعِدَ فِي بَطْنِهَا " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الصَّغِيرِ ، وَرِجَالُ الْبَزَّارِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The wretched one is he who is wretched in his mother's womb, and the fortunate one is he who is fortunate in his mother's womb."
Al-Bazzar recorded it, and al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Saghir; al-Bazzar's narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
