Sayyiduna Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) performing ablution. He washed both his hands three times, rinsed his mouth three times, put water into his nose three times, washed his face three times, washed both his arms up to the elbows, and wiped his head, moving both his hands from the front to the back and then from the back to the front. Then he washed both his feet three times, and he ran his fingers between the toes of his feet and through his beard.
Al-Bazzar recorded it and said: From Sayyiduna Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him)
this report is narrated only with this chain; there is no harm in the narrator Bakkar, and his son Abd al-Rahman is salih (acceptable). I say: I have not found anyone who has given the biography of al-Bazzar's teacher, Muhammad bin Salih bin al-Awwam; the rest of its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
