Book of Divine Decree
بَابٌ فِيمَا سَبَقَ مِنَ اللَّهِ - سُبْحَانَهُ - فِي عِبَادِهِ وَبَيَانِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ وَأَهْلِ النَّارِ .
What Allah has decreed beforehand for His servants, and the people of Paradise and the people of the Fire

وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - خَرَجَ فَبَسَطَ كَفَّهُ الْيُمْنَى ، فَقَالَ : " بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ هَذَا كِتَابٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ بِأَسْمَاءِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ وَأَسْمَاءِ آبَائِهِمْ وَقَبَائِلِهِمْ وَعَشَائِرِهِمْ ، لَا يُزَادُ فِيهِمْ وَلَا يُنْقَصُ مِنْهُمْ " ، ثُمَّ بَسَطَ كَفَّهُ الْيُسْرَى فَقَالَ : " بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ هَذَا كِتَابٌ مِنَ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ إِلَى أَهْلِ النَّارِ بِأَسْمَائِهِمْ وَأَسْمَاءِ آبَائِهِمْ وَقَبَائِلِهِمْ وَعَشَائِرِهِمْ لَا يُزَادُ فِيهِمْ وَلَا يُنْقَصُ مِنْهُمْ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ ابْنِ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، وَلَمْ أَعْرِفِ ابْنَ مُجَاهِدٍ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ ابْنِ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، وَلَمْ أَعْرِفِ ابْنَ مُجَاهِدٍ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) relates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came out, spread out his right hand and said: "In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. This is a writing from Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. In it are the names of the people of Paradise, and the names of their forefathers, their tribes and their clans. Nothing will be added to them, and nothing will be reduced from them." Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) spread out his left hand and said: "In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. This is a writing from the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, concerning the people of Hell. In it are their names and the names of their forefathers, their tribes and their clans. Nothing will be added to them, and nothing will be reduced from them."
Al-Tabarani recorded it as a narration of Ibn Mujahid from his father; I do not know Ibn Mujahid, and the remaining narrators of this narration are the narrators of the Sahih.
