Sayyiduna Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) relates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "Has any of you seen a (notable) dream?" Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: "O Messenger of Allah, I saw that 'three moons' came down into my chamber." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to her: "If your dream is true, then in your house (the narrator says: I think the narration also has these words:) the most excellent of the people of Paradise will be buried." The narrator says: Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) was the most excellent of (those three) moons; then Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) passed away, then Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) passed away, and these noble ones were buried in the chamber of Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her).
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains Umar bin Sa'id al-Abahh, who is da'if (weak).
