عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " لَا تَقُصَّ الرُّؤْيَا إِلَّا عَلَى عَالِمٍ أَوْ نَاصِحٍ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الصَّغِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْبَجَلِيُّ ، وَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ وَغَيْرُهُ ، وَضَعَّفَهُ جَمَاعَةٌ .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Relate a dream only to someone knowledgeable (in interpreting dreams) or to a sincere well-wisher."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Saghir; its chain contains Isma'il bin Amr al-Bajali, whom Ibn Hibban and others declared thiqah (trustworthy) while a group declared him da'if (weak).
