Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "The greatest of lies is that a person ascribes himself to someone other than his father; and the greatest of lies is that a person shows his eyes what they have not seen (that is, he relates a false dream); and that a person alters the (boundary) markers of the land."
Ahmad recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Abu Uthman al-Abbas bin al-Fadl al-Basri, who is matruk (abandoned).
