وَعَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ بْنِ أَسِيدٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " ذَهَبَتِ النُّبُوَّةُ فَلَا نُبُوَّةَ بَعْدِي إِلَّا الْمُبَشِّرَاتُ " . قِيلَ : وَمَا الْمُبَشِّرَاتُ ؟ قَالَ : " الرُّؤْيَا الصَّالِحَةُ يَرَاهَا الرَّجُلُ أَوْ تُرَى لَهُ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَالْبَزَّارُ ، وَرِجَالُ الطَّبَرَانِيِّ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Hudhayfah bin Asid (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Prophethood has departed; there is no prophethood after me, only the mubashshirat (glad tidings)." It was asked: What is meant by the mubashshirat? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Good dreams which a man sees himself, or which are seen for him (by someone else)."
Al-Tabarani and al-Bazzar recorded it, and the narrators of al-Tabarani are thiqat (trustworthy).
