وَعَنْ أَبِي الطُّفَيْلِ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " لَا نُبُوَّةَ بَعْدِي إِلَّا الْمُبَشِّرَاتُ " . قَالُوا : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، مَا الْمُبَشِّرَاتُ ؟ قَالَ : " الرُّؤْيَا الْحَسَنَةُ - أَوْ قَالَ : الصَّالِحَةُ - " . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Abu al-Tufayl (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is no prophethood after me, only the mubashshirat (glad tidings)." The people asked: O Messenger of Allah, what is meant by the mubashshirat? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Good dreams (the narrator is unsure whether the words were:) righteous dreams."
