وَعَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ عَرِيبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " رُؤْيَا الرَّجُلِ - أَحْسَبُهُ قَالَ - الْمُؤْمِنِ بُشْرَى مِنَ اللَّهِ هِيَ جُزْءٌ مِنْ سِتَّةٍ وَأَرْبَعِينَ جُزْءًا مِنَ النُّبُوَّةِ " . قَالَ : فَحَدَّثْتُ بِهِ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ ، فَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ : قَالَ الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " جُزْءٌ مِنْ خَمْسِينَ جُزْءًا مِنَ النُّبُوَّةِ " . قُلْتُ : حَدِيثُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ فِي الصَّحِيحِ خَالِيًا عَنْ حَدِيثِ الْعَبَّاسِ . رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَالْكَبِيرِ ، وَأَبُو يَعْلَى شِبْهُ الْمَرْفُوعِ ، وَلَكِنَّهُ قَالَ : " سِتِّينَ جُزْءًا " ، وَفِيهِ ابْنُ إِسْحَاقَ وَهوَ مُدَلِّسٌ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sulayman bin Arib reports from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The dreams of a believer are glad tidings from Allah Almighty, and they are one part of the forty-six parts of prophethood." The narrator says: I narrated this hadith to Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), and Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: Sayyiduna Abbas bin Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with him) related that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "One of the fifty parts of prophethood (that is, it is a fiftieth part)."
(Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: The hadith narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) is mentioned in the Sahih, without the hadith narrated from Sayyiduna Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him).
Al-Bazzar recorded it; al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat and al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; and Abu Ya'la recorded it as a marfu' hadith, though with the words "a sixtieth part". Its chain contains a narrator, Ibn Ishaq, who is a mudallis, and the remaining narrators of this report are thiqat (trustworthy).
