One who learns the Quran and teaches it
Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 11674
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) reports this as a "marfu'" hadith (attributed to the Prophet): The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The best of you is the person who recites the Qur'an and teaches it to others."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Sharik, and a narrator, Asim. Both of them are thiqah (trustworthy), yet there is weakness in both of them.
