29 - 100 - سُورَةُ قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ وَمَا وَرَدَ فِيهَا مِنَ الْفَضْلِ وَمَا ضُمَّ إِلَيْهَا مِنَ الْفَضْلِ
Surah al-Ikhlas, reports on its virtue and the virtues joined with it

وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ - يَعْنِي ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ - قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " أَمَا يَسْتَطِيعُ أَحَدُكُمْ أَنْ يَقْرَأَ ثُلُثَ الْقُرْآنِ فِي لَيْلَةٍ ؟ " . قَالُوا : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، وَمَنْ يُطِيقُ هَذَا ؟ قَالَ : " أَمَا يَسْتَطِيعُ [ أَنْ يَقْرَأَ ] قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ فَإِنَّهَا تَعْدِلُ ثُلُثَ الْقُرْآنِ " . رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ بِاخْتِصَارٍ فِيهِمَا بِأَسَانِيدَ ، وَرِجَالُ أَحَدِهَا رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ ، غَيْرَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ إِمَامٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Is not one of you able to recite one third of the Qur'an in a night?" The people said: "O Messenger of Allah! Who has the strength for that?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Is he not able to recite Surah al-Ikhlas? For it is equal to one third of the Qur'an."
Al-Bazzar recorded it, and al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat in abridged form; both have various chains, and the narrators of one of them are the narrators of the Sahih, except Abdullah bin Ahmad, who is thiqah (trustworthy) and an Imam.
