Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reports this statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Whoever recites Surah al-Ikhlas ten times, Allah Almighty will build a house for him in Paradise." Sayyiduna Umar bin al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) said: O Messenger of Allah! In that case we will (have) many (houses built). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Allah Almighty (in His grace) is far greater and purer.
Al-Tabarani and Ahmad recorded it. He said: It is reported from Sayyiduna Sahl bin Mu'adh bin Anas al-Juhani (may Allah be pleased with him), the Companion of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him); he did not say that it is reported from his father, and it appears that these words have dropped out. The chains of both narrations contain Rishdin bin Sa'd and Zabban; both of them are da'if (weak), and both have been given a weak authentication.
