وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ وَشَاهِدٍ وَمَشْهُودٍ قَالَ : الشَّاهِدُ مُحَمَّدٌ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - وَالْمَشْهُودُ يَوْمُ الْقِيَامَةِ . رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates, Allah Almighty says: "By the witness and that which is witnessed." Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: "The witness means Sayyiduna Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), and that which is witnessed means the Day of Resurrection."
