Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 11466

وَعَنْ طَارِقِ بْنِ شِهَابٍ قَالَ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يُكْثِرُ ذِكْرَ السَّاعَةِ حَتَّى نَزَلَتْ فِيمَ أَنْتَ مِنْ ذِكْرَاهَا إِلَى رَبِّكَ مُنْتَهَاهَا . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ مَنْ لَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ .
Tariq bin Shihab narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to mention the Hour often, until this verse was revealed: "What have you to do with mentioning it (its specific time)? Its final end rests with your Lord alone."
Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains a narrator whom I do not know.
