Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 11368

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Al-Bayt al-Ma'mur is in the heaven; it is called 'al-Surah', and it is exactly opposite 'al-Bayt al-Haram'. If it were to fall, it would fall right upon it. Every day seventy thousand angels enter it who have never seen it before. In the heaven it has the same sanctity that Makkah has (on the earth)." He said: Every day seventy thousand angels enter al-Bayt al-Ma'mur, and they will never be able to enter it again.
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains the narrator Ishaq bin Bishr Abu Hudhayfah, who is matruk (abandoned).
