قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى : سِيمَاهُمْ فِي وُجُوهِهِمْ مِنْ أَثَرِ السُّجُودِ .
The words of Allah the Exalted: "Their mark is on their faces from the trace of prostration"

عَنْ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ - عَزَّ وَجَلَّ - سِيمَاهُمْ فِي وُجُوهِهِمْ مِنْ أَثَرِ السُّجُودِ قَالَ : " النُّورُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الصَّغِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ رَوَّادُ بْنُ الْجَرَّاحِ وَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ وَغَيْرُهُ وَضَعَّفَهُ الدَّارَقُطْنِيُّ وَغَيْرُهُ .
Sayyiduna Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) spoke about this saying of Allah Almighty: (Allah Almighty says:) "Their distinguishing mark is on their faces from the trace of prostration." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: What is meant by this is light on the Day of Resurrection.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Saghir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains Rawwad bin al-Jarrah, whom Ibn Hibban and others declared thiqah (trustworthy), while al-Daraqutni (may Allah have mercy on him) and others declared him da'if (weak).
