قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى : وَإِذْ صَرَفْنَا إِلَيْكَ نَفَرًا مِنَ الْجِنِّ .

عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ وَإِذْ صَرَفْنَا إِلَيْكَ نَفَرًا مِنَ الْجِنِّ يَسْتَمِعُونَ الْقُرْآنَ الْآيَةَ ، قَالَ : كَانُوا تِسْعَةَ نَفَرٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ نَصِيبِينَ ، فَجَعَلَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - رُسُلًا إِلَى قَوْمِهِمْ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: (Allah Almighty says:) "And when We directed to you a group of the jinn, listening attentively to the Qur'an." Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: They were nine jinn from the people of Nasibin, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) made them messengers to their people.
