قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى : حَتَّى إِذَا بَلَغَ أَشُدَّهُ .

عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ - عَزَّ وَجَلَّ - حَتَّى إِذَا بَلَغَ أَشُدَّهُ قَالَ : ثَلَاثَةٌ وَثَلَاثُونَ ، وَهُوَ الَّذِي رُفِعَ عِيسَى بْنُ مَرْيَمَ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ صَدَقَةُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ وَثَّقَهُ أَبُو زُرْعَةَ وَأَبُو حَاتِمٍ وَضَعَّفَهُ أَحْمَدُ وَجَمَاعَةٌ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates concerning this saying of Allah Almighty: (Allah Almighty says:) "Until, when he reached his full strength." Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: What is meant by this is the age of thirty-three years, and this is the age at which Sayyiduna Isa bin Maryam (peace be upon him) was raised up.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains Sadaqah bin Yazid, whom Abu Zur'ah and Abu Hatim declared thiqah (trustworthy), while Ahmad and a group declared him da'if (weak); the rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
