قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى : أَوَلَمْ نُعَمِّرْكُمْ مَا يَتَذَكَّرُ فِيهِ مَنْ تَذَكَّرَ .
The words of Allah the Exalted: "Did We not grant you life enough for whoever would remember to remember"

عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " إِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ الْقِيَامَةِ نُودِيَ : أَيْنَ أَبْنَاءُ السِّتِّينَ ؟ وَهُوَ الْعُمْرُ الَّذِي قَالَ اللَّهُ - عَزَّ وَجَلَّ - فِيهِ : أَوَلَمْ نُعَمِّرْكُمْ مَا يَتَذَكَّرُ فِيهِ مَنْ تَذَكَّرَ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْمَخْزُومِيُّ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When the Day of Resurrection comes, it will be called out: 'Where are those sixty years of age?'" This is the age about which Allah Almighty has said: "Did We not give you a life long enough for whoever would take heed to take heed in it?"
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Ibrahim bin al-Fadl al-Makhzumi, who is da'if (weak).
