Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 11291

Sayyiduna Abu al-Darda' narrates: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: (Allah Almighty says:) "And some of them wrong themselves, some of them follow a middle course, and some of them are foremost in good deeds." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Those who are foremost in good deeds and those who follow a middle course will enter Paradise without any reckoning, and those who wrong themselves will be given an easy reckoning, and then they too will be admitted into Paradise."
Al-Tabarani recorded it from al-A'mash from a man whom he named. If he is Thabit bin Umayr al-Ansari, as has passed earlier in Ahmad's narration, then the narrators of al-Tabarani are the narrators of the Sahih.
