Sayyiduna Imam Hasan bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The people said: "O Messenger of Allah! What do you say about this statement of Allah Almighty: (Allah Almighty says:) 'Indeed, Allah Almighty and His angels send blessings upon the Prophet'?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "This is among the hidden matters; had you not asked me about it, I would not have told you. Allah Almighty has appointed two angels with me. Whenever I am mentioned before a Muslim person and that person sends blessings upon me, those two angels say: 'May Allah Almighty forgive you too.' Then Allah Almighty and His angels say 'Amin' in response to those two angels."
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, al-Hakam bin Abdullah bin Khattaf, who is kadhdhab (a liar). (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: The remaining hadiths about sending blessings upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) will come in the book on supplications, and some of them have already passed in the chapter on prayer.
