قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى : وَإِذَا سَأَلْتُمُوهُنَّ مَتَاعًا فَاسْأَلُوهُنَّ مِنْ وَرَاءِ حِجَابٍ .
The words of Allah the Exalted: "And when you ask them for something, ask them from behind a screen"

وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ : لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ آيَةُ الْحِجَابِ جِئْتُ أَدْخُلُ كَمَا كُنْتُ أَدْخُلُ ، فَقَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " وَرَاءَكَ يَا بُنَيَّ " . قُلْتُ : لَهُ حَدِيثٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ غَيْرُ هَذَا . رَوَاهُ أَبُو يَعْلَى ، وَفِيهِ سَلْمٌ الْعَلَوِيُّ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: When the verses concerning the command of the hijab were revealed, I came and began to enter as I used to enter before, but the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: "O my son! Now stay outside."
(Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: A hadith from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) is mentioned in the "Sahih" other than this hadith.
Abu Ya'la recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Salm al-Alawi, who is da'if (weak).
