29 - 34 - سُورَةُ الْأَحْزَابِ قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى : وَإِذْ أَخَذْنَا مِنَ النَّبِيِّينَ مِيثَاقَهُمْ
Surah al-Ahzab, and the words of Allah the Exalted: "And when We took from the prophets their covenant"

عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ : أَخَذَ اللَّهُ مِيثَاقَ النَّبِيِّينَ عَلَى قَوْمِهِمْ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: Allah Almighty took a covenant from the Prophets concerning their people.
