قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى : وَجَعَلْنَاهُ هُدًى لِبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ
The words of Allah the Exalted: "And We made it a guidance for the Children of Israel"

عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فِي قَوْلِهِ : ( وَجَعَلْنَاهُ هُدًى لِبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ ) قَالَ : " جَعَلَ مُوسَى هُدًى لِبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ " ، وَفِي قَوْلِهِ : ( فَلَا تَكُنْ فِي مِرْيَةٍ مِنْ لِقَائِهِ ) قَالَ : " مِنْ لِقَاءِ مُوسَى رَبَّهُ - عَزَّ وَجَلَّ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) regarding this statement of Allah Almighty: (Allah Almighty says:) "And We made it a guidance for the Children of Israel." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Sayyiduna Musa (peace be upon him) was made a guidance for the Children of Israel." And regarding this statement of Allah Almighty (Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): Allah Almighty has said:) "So do not be in doubt about meeting him." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "That is, (do not be in doubt) about Sayyiduna Musa (peace be upon him) meeting his Lord."
