29 - 29 - سُورَةُ الْقَصَصِ قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى : فَلَمَّا قَضَى مُوسَى الْأَجَلَ .
Surah al-Qasas, and the words of Allah the Exalted: "And when Musa had completed the term"
Majma al-Zawaid 11250 — Surah al-Qasas, and the words of Allah
عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " سَأَلْتُ جِبْرِيلَ : أَيُّ الْأَجَلَيْنِ قَضَى مُوسَى ؟ قَالَ : أَكْمَلَهُمَا وَأَتَمَّهُمَا " . رَوَاهُ أَبُو يَعْلَى ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ ، غَيْرَ الْحَاكِمِ بْنِ أَبَانٍ وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ . وَرَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ : عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - سُئِلَ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I asked Jibril: Which of the two terms did Sayyiduna Musa (peace be upon him) complete? He said: The one that was more complete and more fulfilled."
Abu Ya'la recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except al-Hakim bin Aban, who is thiqah (trustworthy).
Al-Bazzar recorded it, except that he stated: It is reported from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked.
