وَعَنْ قَتَادَةَ فِي قَوْلِهِ أُولَئِكَ مُبَرَّؤُونَ مِمَّا يَقُولُونَ قَالَ : مِنَ الْقَوْلِ وَالْعَمَلِ لَهُمْ مَغْفِرَةٌ وَرِزْقٌ كَرِيمٌ مَغْفِرَةٌ لِذُنُوبِهِمْ وَهِيَ الْجَنَّةُ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .
Qatadah, regarding this statement of Allah Almighty, said: (Allah Almighty says:) "Those people are innocent of what they (the others) say." Qatadah said: This relates to speech and deeds. (Allah Almighty says:) "And for them is forgiveness and noble provision." This means that their sins will be forgiven and they will be given noble provision, which is Paradise.
