Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 11192

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said regarding this statement of Allah Almighty: (Allah Almighty says:) "The Fire will scorch their faces, and they will be therein with disfigured faces." Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Have you not seen people whose faces have been burned by fire, with their teeth exposed and their lips drooping?
Tabarani recorded it, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy), except that Abu Ubaydah did not hear from his father (Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him)).
