قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى : فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ الصَّيْحَةُ مُصْبِحِينَ .

عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " مَا هَلَكَ قَوْمُ لُوطٍ إِلَّا فِي الْأَذَانِ ، وَلَا تَقُومُ الْقِيَامَةُ إِلَّا فِي الْأَذَانِ " . قَالَ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ : مَعْنَاهُ عِنْدِي - وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ - فِي وَقْتِ أَذَانِ الْفَجْرِ ، هُوَ وَقْتُ الِاسْتِغْفَارِ وَالدُّعَاءِ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The people of Sayyiduna Lut (peace be upon him) were destroyed only at the adhan, and the Hour too will be established only at the adhan." Al-Tabarani states: Allah knows best, but in my view its meaning is: this will happen at the time of the adhan of Fajr, which is the time of seeking forgiveness and supplication.
