عَنْ عَلِيٍّ - رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ - فِي قَوْلِهِ : ( إِنَّمَا أَنْتَ مُنْذِرٌ وَلِكُلِّ قَوْمٍ هَادٍ ) قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " الْمُنْذِرُ وَالْهَادِي رَجُلٌ مِنْ بَنِي هَاشِمٍ " . رَوَاهُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الصَّغِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ ، وَرِجَالُ الْمُسْنَدِ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates concerning this saying of Allah Almighty, (Allah Almighty says:) "You are only a warner, and for every people there is a guide." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The warner and the guide is a man from Banu Hashim."
Abdullah bin Ahmad recorded it, and Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Saghir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. The narrators of the Musnad are thiqat (trustworthy).
