Sa'id bin Jubayr narrates: I said to Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both): "Narrate to me a hadith that you heard from the blessed tongue of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)." He said: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "On the Day of Resurrection Allah Almighty will bring a servant until He places him within His veil and says to him: 'Read your record of deeds.' He will read, confessing his sins one by one. The Lord will ask: 'Do you recognise this? Do you recognise this?' He will say: 'Yes, O my Lord!' That servant will read, looking to the right and left as he does so. The Lord will say: 'O My servant, there is no harm for you; you are under My covering. Between Me and you there is no one other than Me who can learn of your sins. Now go, I have forgiven you.' Then it will be said to that servant: 'Enter Paradise.' But as for the disbelievers, it will be said before all the people: 'These are the ones who attributed a lie to their Lord. Behold! The curse of Allah is upon the wrongdoers.'"
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, al-Qasim bin Bahram, and he is da'if (weak).
