قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى : إِنَّ الَّذِينَ فَرَّقُوا دِينَهُمْ .
The saying of Allah the Exalted: "Indeed, those who have divided their religion"

عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ لِعَائِشَةَ : " يَا عَائِشَةُ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ فَرَّقُوا دِينَهُمْ وَكَانُوا شِيَعًا هُمْ أَصْحَابُ الْبِدَعِ وَأَصْحَابُ الْأَهْوَاءِ ، لَيْسَ لَهُمْ تَوْبَةٌ ، أَنَا مِنْهُمْ بَرِيءٌ ، وَهُمْ مِنِّي بَرَاءٌ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الصَّغِيرِ وَإِسْنَادُهُ جَيِّدٌ .
Sayyiduna Umar bin al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her): "O Aishah! Indeed, those who divided their religion into sects and became factions are the people of innovation and the followers of desires. Their repentance will not be accepted. I am free of them, and they are free of me."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Saghir, and its chain is jayyid (good).
