قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى : إِنَّ الَّذِينَ فَرَّقُوا دِينَهُمْ .
The saying of Allah the Exalted: "Indeed, those who have divided their religion"

وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : إِنَّ الَّذِينَ فَرَّقُوا دِينَهُمْ وَكَانُوا شِيَعًا لَسْتَ مِنْهُمْ فِي شَيْءٍ ، قَالَ : " هُمْ أَهْلُ الْبِدَعِ وَالْأَهْوَاءِ مِنْ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ ، غَيْرَ مُعَلِّلِ بْنِ نُفَيْلٍ وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): (Allah Almighty says:) "Indeed, those who divided their religion into sects and became factions, you are not (responsible for) them in anything." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It means the people of innovation and the followers of desires who will belong to this Ummah."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except for Mu'allil bin Nufayl, and he is thiqah (trustworthy).
