Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 11007

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) concerning this saying of Allah Almighty: (Allah Almighty says:) "On the day some of the signs of your Lord come." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It means the rising of the sun from the west."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
(Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: Various routes of it are mentioned in the chapter on the signs of the Hour.
