قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى : فَمُسْتَقَرٌّ وَمُسْتَوْدَعٌ .
The saying of Allah the Exalted: "A place of dwelling and of storage"
Majma al-Zawaid 11001 — The saying of Allah the Exalted: "A place"
وَعَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ : ( فَمُسْتَقَرٌّ وَمُسْتَوْدَعٌ ) قَالَ : الْمُسْتَقَرُّ الرَّحِمُ ، وَالْمُسْتَوْدَعُ الْأَرْضُ الَّتِي يَمُوتُ فِيهَا . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ عَنْ شَيْخِهِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
Ibrahim al-Nakha'i narrates from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) concerning this saying of Allah Almighty: "A place of settlement and a place of deposit." Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The place of settlement means the womb, and the place of deposit is the earth in which a person dies.
Al-Tabarani recorded it from his teacher Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Sa'id bin Abi Maryam, and he is da'if (weak).
