وَعَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ يَزِيدَ قَالَتْ : نَزَلَتْ سُورَةُ الْأَنْعَامِ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - جُمْلَةً وَاحِدَةً إِنْ كَادَتْ مِنْ ثِقَلِهَا لَتَكْسِرُ عَظْمَ النَّاقَةِ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ شَهْرُ بْنُ حَوْشَبٍ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ وَقَدْ وُثِّقَ .
Sayyidah Asma bint Yazid (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: Surah al-An'am was revealed to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) whole, all at once, and because of its weight the she-camel's bone was about to break.
Al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Shahr bin Hawshab, who is da'if (weak), though he has been declared trustworthy.
