وَعَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ يَزِيدَ قَالَتْ : إِنِّي لَآخِذَةٌ بِزِمَامِ الْعَضْبَاءِ ، نَاقَةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - إِذْ نَزَلَتِ الْمَائِدَةُ كُلُّهَا ، فَكَادَتْ مِنْ ثِقَلِهَا تَدُقُّ عَضُدَ النَّاقَةِ .
Sayyidah Asma bint Yazid (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: I was holding the reins of al-Adba, the she-camel of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), when the whole of Surah al-Ma'idah was revealed, and because of its weight the she-camel's foreleg was about to break.
