قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى : فَأَمْسِكُوهُنَّ فِي الْبُيُوتِ

وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ : لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ سُورَةُ النِّسَاءِ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " لَا حَبْسَ بَعْدَ سُورَةِ النِّسَاءِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ عِيسَى بْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: When Surah al-Nisa was revealed, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "After Surah al-Nisa, there will be no ruling of keeping (women) confined (in the house)."
