وَعَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ - رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ - عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " الْإِسْلَامُ ثَمَانِيَةُ أَسْهُمٍ : الْإِسْلَامُ سَهْمٌ ، وَالصَّلَاةُ سَهْمٌ ، وَالزَّكَاةُ سَهْمٌ ، وَحَجُّ الْبَيْتِ سَهْمٌ ، وَالصِّيَامُ سَهْمٌ ، وَالْأَمْرُ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ سَهْمٌ ، وَالنَّهْيُ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ سَهْمٌ ، وَالْجِهَادُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ سَهْمٌ ، وَقَدْ خَابَ مَنْ لَا سَهْمَ لَهُ " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ يَزِيدُ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ ، وَثَّقَهُ أَحْمَدُ وَغَيْرُهُ ، وَضَعَّفَهُ جَمَاعَةٌ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ يَزِيدُ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ ، وَثَّقَهُ أَحْمَدُ وَغَيْرُهُ ، وَضَعَّفَهُ جَمَاعَةٌ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Islam has eight portions: Islam (that is, the testimony of faith) is a portion, prayer is a portion, zakah is a portion, Hajj to the House of Allah is a portion, fasting is a portion, enjoining good is a portion, forbidding evil is a portion, jihad in the path of Allah is a portion; and indeed, whoever has no portion (of these) has suffered loss."
Imam al-Bazzar recorded it, and its chain contains a narrator, Yazid bin Ata', whom Imam Ahmad and others declared thiqah (trustworthy), but a group declared him da'if (weak); the remaining narrators of this report are thiqat (trustworthy).
