قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى : إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَأْمُرُكُمْ أَنْ تَذْبَحُوا بَقَرَةً .

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " إِنَّ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ لَوْ أَخَذُوا أَدْنَى بَقَرَةٍ لَأَجْزَأَتْهُمْ . أَوْ : لَأَجْزَأَتْ عَنْهُمْ " رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ عَبَّادُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If the Children of Israel had taken even an ordinary cow, it would have sufficed for them (the narrator is in doubt; perhaps the words are:) it would have sufficed on their behalf."
Al-Bazzar recorded it. Its chain contains Abbad bin Mansur, who is da'if (weak); the remaining narrators of this report are thiqat (trustworthy).
