Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 10752

Sayyiduna Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Whoever kills a dhimmi will not even smell the fragrance of Paradise, although its fragrance can be perceived from a distance of five hundred years." (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say:
Ibn Majah recorded it, but he did not record the words "five hundred years".
