Majma al-Zawaid 10749 — Abolishing the blood claims of the Jahiliyyah
عَنْ أَبَانِ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْعَاصِ أَنَّهُ خَطَبَ ، فَقَالَ : إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَدْ وَضَعَ كُلَّ دَمٍ كَانَ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ وَالْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ قِصَّةٌ ، وَإِسْنَادُ الْبَزَّارِ ضَعِيفٌ ، وَشَيْخُ الطَّبَرَانِيِّ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ الصَّنْعَانِيُّ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ لَمْ أَعْرِفْهُمَا ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ وَالْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ قِصَّةٌ ، وَإِسْنَادُ الْبَزَّارِ ضَعِيفٌ ، وَشَيْخُ الطَّبَرَانِيِّ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ الصَّنْعَانِيُّ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ لَمْ أَعْرِفْهُمَا ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
It is reported about Sayyiduna Aban bin Sa'id bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said while delivering a sermon: "The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) annulled every blood (claim) of the Jahiliyyah."
Al-Tabarani and al-Bazzar recorded it, and the whole incident is reported in it. Al-Bazzar's chain is da'if (weak). Al-Tabarani's teacher Ali bin al-Mubarak al-San'ani narrated it from Yazid bin al-Mubarak, and I do not know either of them. The rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
